故:How come you have the same first name as your father?
= Why do you have the same first name as your father?

以上片語中, same是形容詞, 表示『相同的』, same之前始終要置定冠詞the; as則為連接詞, 表示『和』的意思。
例:I have a same book like that one. (╳)
→ I have the same book as that one. (○)

注意:
中國人的名字寫法習慣是, 先冠姓, 再接名於其後; 而英美人士則是先寫出名, 再冠以姓。

My friend Chang Li is a Chinese. Chang is his last name, and Li is his first name.

注意:
英美人士常有和父親、母親、叔叔、嬸嬸或任何值得景仰的人取相同名字的習慣, 以示尊教。咱們中國人則沒有這種習慣。 |

What about及How about之後亦可接動名詞, 有下列意思:

= How about + 動名詞？
例:A: How about going to the movies tonight?
B: Sounds great.
(甲：咱們今天晚上看電影去，你看如何？)
