1.	I'm looking for a necktie.　　我正在找一條領帶。
	a. 我們在Lesson 8中已介紹過現在進行式的用法, 這裏我們再做個複習。現在進行式就是一種用來表示『在現在的時刻, 某動作正在進行』的狀態, 相當於中文的『(現在) 正在……』之意。其句型如下: 主詞 + 現在式be動詞 (is, am, are) + 現在分詞　　……正在…… 例: He is writing a book. 　　(他正在寫一本書。) 　　I am reading the newspaper. 　　(我正在看報紙。) 　　They are having a picnic in the park. 　　(他們正在公園裏野餐。) 　 b. look for...　　尋找…… 例: John is looking for a new job. 　　(約翰正在找新工作。)
2.	Any special brand?　　您想要任何特別的品牌嗎
	= Do you want any special brand? 問句中的brand是名詞, 表『廠牌』、『牌子』、『商標』的意思; brand-new則是由brand衍生而來的形容詞, 表『全新的』、『未用過的』之意, 也是個常用的單字。 brand-new n. 全新的，未用過的例: I like that brand of coffee most. 　　(我最喜歡那種牌子的咖啡。) 　 Be careful with that car; it's brand-new! 　　(請小心那輛車子；它是全新的！)
3.	It's only US$10 and it's on sale.
	那只要十塊美金, 而且現在正在特價。 on sale是指『減價售出』、『廉賣』或『打折』的意思, 而for sale則是單純指『出售』之意。例: Shoes are on sale in that department store. 　 (那家百貨公司的鞋子正在特賣。) 　 I'm sorry, but this painting is not for sale. 　 (很抱歉，這幅畫是不賣的／非賣品。)
