上列句中的my size之前省略了介詞in, 但實際使用時, in不寫出來。in my size的字面意思為『在我的尺寸裏面』, 實際翻譯則為『合乎我的尺寸』。

例: We have a shirt your size.

　 I'm sorry. We don't have any shoes your size.

I think so.　　我想有的。

上列句中的so是用來代替前面句中所提過的概念, 表示『我認為如此。』、『我也這麼想。』之意。

因此本句的"I think so."即下列句子的化簡:

例: A: Is this umbrella yours?

　 = I think this umbrella is mine.

注意:

in the corner指的是在空間內的角落, on the corner是指空間外的轉角處, around the corner則指轉角附近。
