in + 一段時間 一段時間之後 (用於一般未來式)
= 一段時間 + later

注意:
咱們很容易將上列句子寫成:
I'll be there after five minutes. (╳)
I'll finish it after two hours. (╳)
after five minutes表示『過了五分鐘以後再說』。因此, I'll be there after five minutes.暗示『五分鐘過了之後, 我才會考慮到那裡, 至於何時會去, 我尚未決定。』而I'll be there in five minutes.則暗示『五分鐘一過我就會在那裡出現。』after two hours與after five minutes所犯的毛病一樣, 在此就不再贅述。within則表示『在……以內』。
比較:
I'll be there in five minutes.
我五分鐘後會到那裡。
I'll be there within five minutes.
