Larry is talking to his classmate, Hedy .
賴瑞正在和他的同學海蒂談話
Larry：Hi, Hedy! What seems to be bother ing you?
賴瑞：嗨，海蒂！好像有什麼事情煩著妳？
Hedy：I don't understand why my boyfriend finds it so hard to keep his word.
海蒂：我不懂為什麼我的男朋友會覺得說話算話那麼難。
Larry：What has he done this time?
賴瑞：他這次幹了什麼好事？
Hedy：Well, he made a date with me to see a movie last night, but he stood me up.
海蒂：嗯，他昨晚約我去看電影但是他放我鴿子。
Larry：What a lousy guy!
賴瑞：真是個差勁的傢伙！
Hedy：I know. And there's nothing worse than to be in love with such a guy.
海蒂：我知道。而且沒有比愛上這種傢伙更糟的事了。
Larry：Why don't you just dump him?
賴瑞：妳何不就把他給甩了？
Hedy：i can't .
海蒂：我做不到。
Larry：Why not?
賴瑞：為什麼？
Hedy：I promised i'd never leave him. And a promise is a promise.
海蒂：我答應過他我絕不會離開他的。君子一言，駟馬難追。
Larry：Oh, boy.
賴瑞：哦，天啊！
