Beth：Can you imagine what it was like 4,000 years ago? |

Carl：That's hard to imagine. But if the mummies could speak, they could certainly tell us a great deal. |

Beth：Well, that, of course, is impossible. But scientists can tell a lot from the things the explorers found. |
